Yes! With the Eventin plugin, you can enable frontend event submission, allowing users — including registered vendors or selected roles — to submit events directly from your website. This is especially useful for community-driven platforms or event directories.

🧭 How to Enable Frontend Event Submission in Eventin

Follow the steps below to let users submit events from the frontend of your site:

🛠 Step 1: Enable Frontend Submission

Go to your WordPress dashboard.
Navigate to:
Eventin → Shortcodes→ Event Frontend Dashboard (PRO) - Check Here
Click and Generate Shortcode, now click on the Copy Button.
Now paste it [etn_pro_dashboard] on any page you want. Your users will get the event submission layout there.

👥 Step 2: Set Who Can Submit Events

Website owners need to update the user roles to allow the users to submit their events. At this moment, only users with administrator, author, and editor roles are allowed to submit the events. So, the admin needs to define any of the user roles for the users.

Once you are done with the given steps, your users are ready to submit the events on your website from the front end.

Important Note: Users (whom you want to allow to submit the event) need to log in with the correct credentials and move the event submission page (the page where the admin added the shortcode). Then users will be able to submit the events.

🔗 Step 3: Display the Submission Form on Your Website

To make the submission form visible to users:

Create or edit a page.
Add the following shortcode [etn_pro_dashboard] to display the event submission form:

The submitted event will appear under Eventin → Events in your dashboard.
You can review, edit, approve, or publish events manually.
You may configure whether events are published automatically.
