How to Change Event Slug

By default, Eventin uses etn as the URL slug for single event pages (e.g., yoursite.com/etn/event-name ). If you want to customize this slug to something else like workshop , seminar , or any custom word, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Eventin Settings

• From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to:

  Eventin > Settings > Advanced

• Select the option labeled “Slug”.

2. Enter Your New Slug

• For example:
  • workshop
  • seminar
  • conference

⚠️ Use lowercase letters and no spaces. Use hyphens (- ) if needed.

3. Save Changes

• Click the “Save Changes”

4. Flush Permalinks (Important!)

• Go to: Settings > Permalinks
• Scroll down and click “Save Changes” (you don’t need to modify anything).

Additional:

To change the event URL to something else.

1. Go to Eventin Events

• From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to:

  Eventin > Events > Edit the event

2. Edit the URL

• Click and check the edit button here:

After making the change, uncheck the edit button and save the event

To change the parent slug of etn into something else
