How to create custom templates for event?

1. What Is an Event Template?

Event Templates allow you to design reusable landing pages for your events—complete with branding, layout, and event details. Benefits include:

Consistent branding across events
Faster setup through reuse
Flexible customization to match event themes
Visually engaging experience using drag‑and‑drop tools

2. Accessing the Template Builder

Navigate in WordPress admin:

Eventin → Template Builder

Here, you can build different template types:

Event Templates
Ticket Templates
Certificate Templates

3. Creating a New Event Template

Click New Template

Select the Event Template tab.

Choose which event this template will be linked to.

Or you can create a new event from the template builder.

4. Designing Your Template

In Eventin, there are two ways to edit or design your event landing page: you can use either the Gutenberg editor (from the Gutenberg block editor) or Elementor.

Design Gutenberg Editor.

On the left side, you will find event-related blocks to design your layout.

Eventin Container, Event Title, Event Info, Eventin Image, Eventin Button, Event Venue, Related Events, Event Logo, Event FAQ
Event RSVP, Event Speaker, Event Organizer, Event Banner, Event Date and Time, Event Tag, Event, Category
Event Schedule, Recurring Event, Event Description, Event add to calendar, Event Social, Event countdown timer, and Buy Ticket.

Design with Elementor

Click Edit with Elementor in editor

Use Eventin-specific widgets + Elementor layout tools

Note: When editing in Elementor, event data is static during design—placeholders won’t auto-populate until the template is applied

5. Publishing & Previewing

Click Save & Publish or Save Draft
Use Preview to check template layout

Use built-in responsive preview for device testing

6. Applying the Template to Events

Event‑specific:

Go to Eventin → Events
Edit an event
In Template Setup, select your custom Event Template

Finally, click the save changes button.
